When we skip steps in a system, we cannot expect the system to work as designed. There are very few effective shortcuts in marketing.
There are seminars, books and consultants who claim to know a quicker way to achieve results. "Who needs a seven-step system when we can do it for you in three steps?"
The problem with marketing speed is that when steps are skipped, the customer is usually short changed. If an important ingredient is left out of a cake recipe, something may bake, but it won't be a cake. It's nearly impossible to go back to a skipped step and add it back into the mix.
Be diligent with systems. Write checklists. Check every box.
I'm comforted to know that airline pilots check boxes for every flight.
