A Dallas, Texas, businessman named Steve Ramseur had to learn to say no the hard way, through burnout that led to a breakdown. Here's a bit of his wisdom: If you don't learn to say no, your yes means nothing.
Do you say yes too much? Do you know yourself well enough to know what you should say yes to? Do you know what to say no to, especially at work?
Or are you a maybe-ite? Saying maybe when you really mean no? There is no "maybe" in the Bible.
Matthew 5:37 says, "But let your 'Yes' mean 'Yes,' and 'No' mean 'No.' For whatever is more than these comes from the evil one."
So, how about you? Will you commit to yes or no, and throw away the maybes?
