When you study the word of God, you see that He speaks to generations of people. God is very concerned with the younger generation. Judges 2:10 (MEV) speaks to that: "That entire generation passed away, and after them grew up a generation who did not know the Lord or the deeds that He had done for Israel."

As believers we sense the urgency of the hour. We are living in the last days and we have to see the priority God is showing us in reaching the younger generation. God does not want our young people growing up and not knowing Him. We have seen many trends throughout the body of Christ that have weaved back and forth in great Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry and Outreach.

However, I believe now is the time to put an extreme priority in reaching the younger generation. I'm not talking about youth nights or cute children's programs—I'm talking preaching the gospel and seeing our young people revived by the power of God.

God is preparing us to see one of the greatest revivals in this younger generation.

So many times we've put the emphasis on adults and have forgotten that God wants the younger generation reached as well. I am grateful for ministries that are impacting the younger generation and the movements we see around the nation for these young people. God is using great men and women of God to stir up revival in this up-and-coming generation.

Right now, there is a remnant of young people that are stirring the coals of revival. These young people are crying out to God, worshiping Him, writing songs about revival and putting Jesus back on the throne of their hearts. There are young people right now praying around the flag pole at local high schools every week, not just once a year.

These young people are coming out of communities of minorities and they are hungry, passionate and ready for revival.

It's amazing to see these young people separate, consecrate and dedicate themselves to the Lord. They are bold and want to spread revival to the younger generation around the nation. See what God is doing through young people at thenewchurchofjoy.com and reachageneration.com.

God said in His Word that in the last days, He will turn the hearts of the father back to the children and the hearts of the children back to the father.

"See, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreaded day of the Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse" (Mal. 4:5-6, MEV).

This is an end-times solution to a fatherless generation. God has to raise up fathers, pastors and leaders to turn their hearts to this younger generation, to raise them up and make them a priority. For 20 years, I have seen my husband, Pastor Luis Reyes, be a spiritual father to this younger generation, and today he is challenging and encouraging men to step up and be fathers.

This is the way to reach the younger generation and to heal the hearts of those that have no fathers. They need the Father's love. We cannot miss what God is doing by ignoring the up-and-coming generation. They want God, they want revival and they want to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

It's time for the church to give our young people the opportunity to rise up and bring revival to their generation. We cannot miss this next move of God that will sweep this nation and is a key to bringing this nation back to God.
