Steve Hill Calls Christians to Rise Up and Fight

steve-hill-hand-raised

We are living in perilous times—and I’m dedicated to exposing the schemes of Satan and then educating Christians on what to do about it.

We are finding that many churches have become Satan's sanctuary. Satan can sit down and savor a soft sermon. The pillow prophets behind the sacred pulpit won’t dare preach against him. Rather, they offer us savory snacks that produce anemic malnourished Christians whose lives are void of Holy Ghost strength.

I fear we are raising up a generation of weak, cowardly, young people. They don't know how to cast out devils. Many have never been filled with His Spirit and haven't experienced the glorious manifestation of tongues. They don't know how to pray. They don't know how to go after God. They want to sit under some teacher that's going to tickle their ears and make them happy.

Recently, someone asked me if I wanted to be a life coach in a big church. That's a big thing nowadays, the life coach. This was a huge church. I said to them "I'm sorry.” I wouldn’t do it because I would shoot too straight for them. I would ask them, “Are you a drinker? Do you go to parties? When you travel, do you jump in the sack with prostitutes?" I wouldn't say, "God loves you and you're wonderful and everything is nice and dandy." No! It doesn't matter if they are millionaires.

I'll preach to people that are worth billions of dollars the same message that I would preach to somebody off the street. I love everybody. But I want to tell you it's time to rise up and speak the truth. Many who call themselves pastors are guilty of dumbing down the gospel. As a result believers lack in the simple truth of spiritual warfare. Why do they come to me to cast out devils? Why can't they cast out devils? Why do they come to me ask me to lay hands on a person? All Christians are supposed to lay hands on the sick. All Christians are supposed to be able to deal with a demonic attack. But when they are spiritually attacked, many of these weak Christians lift up rusty swords and swing them in the hope of some type of victory.

It’s time to get up, get out, and get going. It's time for Christians to leave the barracks and enter the battle. The only answer to our present political dilemma is spiritual strength. The only answer to our present political dilemma is for Christians to rise up and use their use their right of free speech to lift up their voice as a trumpet. Show your valor by entering this war not hoping for victory but expecting total victory. Some enter the battle hoping to win. I enter the battle knowing I'm going to win.

As a Christian don't be labeled as a coward but rather a crusader of righteousness. As a Christian, do't run away from tough situations, run towards them. I look at present-day politicians who will stand up and they'll scream their beliefs over the airwaves, and I'm saying, "Where are the believers that will scream what they believe over the airwaves, the Internet or their local town council meeting?" This is what we endeavor to do. This is what every believer has freedom to do.

Steve Hill is the founder of Heartland Church in Las Colinas, Texas. He is perhaps best known as the evangelist for the Brownsville revival in Pensacola, Fla.You can reach him online at Steve Hill Ministries or check out Front Lines TV.

What do we mean when we say "a crusader of righteousnesss"? This needs further explanation.

Steve never misses the mark on that one Pastor Wayne. If you have ever heard him preach, he is all about repentance and being born again.

So true that we are producing a nation of anemic christianetts who compromise the truth of God for a lie..May God forgive us as we sit in our comfortable pews and not realise there is a world dying out there.Look to the christians in China , Africa and see their red hot zeal for the Lord.Even so come Lord Jesus.

The blatant insinuation NOT to point out incongruous behaviour of believers is preposterous …are we then expected to keep extending grace and mercy while they continue to indulge in sin AND allowed to liberally minister from the pulpits unhindered????...well, last time I checked the bible..these were the kinda culprits kicked, shouted at and their furniture overturned by…uh…well…JESUS HIMSELF!!
We acknowledge some Rev and Pastor offering padre solidarity in this column…but should our solidarity be based on the infallible and uncompromising word of God…or is this exactly what Ps Hill was warming about….humanism coated in some warped biblical reasoning....judgement starts in the house…!!

.oh...and "truth seeker" may wish to seek some more!....

Yes, Jesus did not come to condemn people, but he asked them to repent. He demonstrated love and compassion to those who were like sheep without a shepherd. But to those are saved, he commands a righteous living. Grace is not license to sin.

People - God is able to overcome sin. Did so on the cross. Let's get off telling everyone how to behave and start telling them God is amazing and passionately in love with His creation. John 3:16 is wonderful, but don't forget John 3:17 that Jesus did not come to CONDEMN the world, but to SOZO it. Let's start sozoing (healing them body, mind and soul) and stop telling them the proper rules of behavior. Following God's rules are a great way to avoid having to live in relationship with him. The Pharisees were great at following the rules and demanding others follow God's rules, but they totally missed His grace and withheld that grace from others. For THAT Jesus called them children of Satan. The Kingdom of Heaven will not be inherited by the Hauty in Spirit (the rule keepers) but the Poor In Spirit... Come on - let's get this and stop killing preachers who actually understand that it's not "grace and" or "Grace but" but GRACE ONLY!

Last time we checked it was in the confines of the Church when Jesus said “you gang of SNAKES…children of SATAN!!
.
Of course there is adultery, fornication, thievery, deceit, sodomy, political wheeling and dealing et, etc in the Church…just like in the world!!!!.

..look at some of these over glorified Tele Evangelist some dumb blind so called believes worship, even the ground they walk on.....we need more spirit filled sharp shooters like Ps Hill!!

Let’s not be to concerned with [censored] footing politically correct preachers…deep in their hearts they would know where they’re headed…well, if their conscience has not been seared…uh.. yet!!

Quoting Pastor Wayne:
Sadly, Hill's message is akin to a general calling new recruits and ordinary citizens to grab a rifle and start fighting. Such a "call" results in needless casualties, disillusionment, and desertion.
Hill proclaims he wants to expose Satan's tactics but he himself appears to be in need of such in his own perspectives and actions.

How sad to read your comments. Steve Hill is one of those evangelists that exposes Satan's tactics and teaching people to live a pure and holy life for Christ and be victorious in Him not by words but by deeds as the Word says. He is not a man-pleaser but a God-pleaser.You are far from where Hill is and obviously you haven't walked where he has, therefore you can't judge such a man God as Steve Hill. God bless you!

He tells the truth and we need to stop watering down Christianity and God Word, or the worlds beliefs will prosper!
Jesus Coming is very very soon, many are not saved and we need to get proactive as believers, be bold and courageous and know you are join theirs with Christ!
We are the greatest force on earth as Gods Church to fight Satan, no other religion can defeat Satan It's through Christ Jesus we have the authority to defeat Satan!
