Fifteen-Year-Old Preaches at Church

QUOTE: "The audience was focused on her. She was not speaking as a teenager, but as an adult who was very sensitive to the Holy Spirit of God." —Bishop Darrell Gooden, describing the first time he heard Perri Costley, a 15-year-old girl, preach to his congregation. Gooden was so impressed that he invited Costley to speak at an international conference for more than 200 ministers. Gooden expects the teenager to make some errors as she grows, but wants to give her opportunities because he knows that “God is going to use her.” [ajc.com, 3/15/10]

God can use this teenager to touch those in her generation; but she needs someone that can be a spiritual Father and Mother to help her grow in God

Mat 21:15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,
Mat 21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
As a young lad of eleven years old, God saved me and filled me with the Holy Ghost, gave me the gifts of Tongues and Interpretation, and called me to preach. Now, fifty-five years later, and having pastored churches in MO, AR, OK, TX, and having evangelized in others, and in Eastern Europe as well, I can only say, you go girl!

IF God has called her to minister the truth, you had better allow her to minister before a law passes where she can't anymore...and if you think that's impossible then you aren't keeping up with the news nor the "signs of the times." By the way, I use to see "street preachers" everywhere. Either they've quit or been forced to quit....or else backslid and decided it wasn't worth it. Trust me..I pray in stores, on the street, and any other place I feel led to. How blessed that we can even pray in our "hearts." One well known ministry instructed a relative of mine not to pray with people even if they ask because an elderly lady had asked her to pray. The ministry is still on TV, but how could you possibly believe in what they are preaching? PREACH ON SISTER!!

Leave the girl alone and go find your self some other kind or form of intertainment. Don't use her love and zeal for God and her ignorance to fill your voids of Godlessness. Please don't turn her into one of those cold distent untouchables you people are. Please don't make her into one of those intertainers you people are at that conferance. May God have mercy on you if you do.
Thank you
