Still Time to Register for the Summit on Integrity

Excitement is high for the Summit on Integrity to be held Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Lake Mary, Fla., led by pastor Larry Stockstill of Bethany World Outreach Center in Baton Rouge, La.  As we've reported before, the purpose is to discuss personal discipleship for ministers, steps for strengthening ministry marriages and parenting relationships, integrity in finances and truthful disclosure, purity in sexual morality, and being examples in our communities of influence.

There's still time to register! Click here to register online, or you can call Nettie Parks at 800-749-6500, ext. 2410. If you're a member of Ministry21 Network the cost is $100. For non-network members the cost is $200. Spouses of registered participants can attend for free.

You will be blessed by the teaching, the interaction and the exchange of ideas. You'll be ministered to by times of worship and prayer. You'll be able to take a stand by participating in and signing the Statement on Integrity, which will be released to the public. And you can personally sign the Remnant Covenant which says, in part: “We believe that accountability in standards of church discipline, finances, media, Internet, travel, counseling and appearances can revolutionize the present climate of suspicion and loss of influence presently characterizing ministry leadership.”

We believe doing this will encourage the church and make a statement to the world that there are leaders who stand for biblical values in a day of increasing compromise.

Do you ever say, "Someone should do something about the growing lack of integrity in society and in the church?" Well, Larry Stockstill is speaking out and Ministry Today has focused on this important topic in its recent issue. Now you can join him and scores of other leaders including Sam Rodriguez, Bishop Harry Jackson, Bishop Paul Zink, Barbara Wentroble, Alex Clattenburg and Joel Stockstill to "do something" by attending the Summit, which is being held at our headquarters at 600 Rinehart Road, Lake Mary, Fla., outside Orlando.

Here are topics we'll deal with at the Summit:

MY MINISTRY: “Call to personal discipleship”—alignment for your assignment; brokenness to blessing; character to calling; discipleship to destiny; Paul’s and Jesus’ teams of discipled leaders. Ministry time will deal with father wounds; pride, arrogance and over-confidence; and personal integrity issues.

MY FAMILY: “Building a ministry family” through lifetime marriages; secrets to keeping a wife happy for life; rearing godly children through “attention, affection, discipline.” Ministry time will include prayer over marriages and for ministry children.

MY INFLUENCE: “Integrity, purity, example”—three pillars of influence; integrity in finances, commitments and truthfulness; purity in morality, motives and relationships; being an example in order, community and family. Ministry time will include repentance for loss of integrity and influence; repentance for sexual and relational impurity; repentance for shame brought on Christ in America.

MY NATION: “Action steps”—Getting American ministry back on track.

Larry Stockstill wrote in Ministry Today about the legacy of integrity in his own family. Click here for the digital issue and read this and other articles such as one by Dr. Doug Weiss on sexual integrity.

The summit will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a light breakfast; registration also includes lunch and dinner. After dinner, participate in round-table discussions with peers. The next morning is optional golf at a nearby golf course. A list of nearby hotels and rates is available when you register. Attendance is limited to 200 due to the size of the venue, so register now. Don’t miss this important event!

:zzz If ministers are TRULY interested in cleaning up their integrity the Summit would be much longer than one day. Your topics cannot seriously be discussed in a day...especially on the golf course. Good intentions just don't cut it in this time in America...this Summit will not profit the Kingdom...just one more good-ol-boy feel-good get-to-together. When you want to get serious have a Summit to study the life and execution of Dietrich Boenhoffer and then ask your Summit participants... "Will you be the 75% Clergy who sided in with Hitler (who isn't our President by the way, he's just a Black man)....or the 25% in the Resistance who went to the Gallows. Better get ready to choose. Pastor Boenhoffer witnessed a complete failure of the Protestant Church in Germany. What qualifies me to comment? I am a retired Church Secretary that has seen it ALL. Shame on you. Today's Clergy has failed their Sheep and our Country
