Answer the Call!

I hope you will join us in Nashville in July when we pray for a massive visitation of God’s Spirit.

Here's a call I can't wait to take. I believe it's from God. I'm going to be in Nashville, Tenn. at TheCall on 07:07:07. Will you join me? I believe God is issuing a summons to gather as leaders, children, families and teens for a solemn assembly unlike any other. Such an invitation offers a rare opportunity to usher in revival and reconciliation in our nation in a very specific way.

We are in an unparalleled window of time where our response and pursuit of God can bring great favor and change. It has been a biblical generation—40 years—since the sexual revolution in our nation divorced parents and children and created a generation and values gap. It has also been 40 years since the "Jesus people" movement began—sweeping millions of youth into the kingdom of God. It's also been 40 years since Jerusalem returned to Israel's control for the first time since A.D. 70.

Could this be the time of an awakening for a new generation? I believe so.

When revivals and awakenings take place, monumental social change is sure to follow. The First Great Awakening in England and Wesley's work influenced Wilberforce to head a campaign leading to the end of slavery in that nation. The Second Great Awakening with Charles Finney in America helped lay the foundation to abolish slavery in our country just years later.

Lou Engle, my prophet friend and covenant brother, received this date and vision from the Lord for a July Call in Nashville. On this day of perfect sevens—symbolizing perfect completion and covenant marriage—Lou is calling the body together to fast and pray for revival, generational reconciliation and an end to abortion through the spirit of worship and love.

I believe Lou has heard the Lord now just as he did in 2000. At TheCall D.C. that year, some 400,000 Christians, mostly teens and their parents, assembled on the Capitol Mall on Sept. 2 to fast and pray for this nation.

When Lou asked me to help him spearhead that move, I knew it was God. Yet we had no idea if 25,000 or 100,000 would come. The Holy Spirit exceeded our wildest expectations.

Why another solemn assembly now? With the scandals of major leaders falling, it is time again to humble ourselves, repent of our sins and pray for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit on our nation. We can't rest on yesterday's victories.

Titan Stadium in Nashville awaits. Which one of the nearly 100,000 spaces has your name on it? Gather your sons and daughters, your parents, your church, your co-workers and neighbors and come join the convocation of the Lord. This one-day event is free and everyone is welcome. In the city of music, the "buckle of the Bible belt," the heavens will thunder in worship with the sound of the Lord. We will declare His glory and purpose as He stirs our hearts through love and obedience. I am confident every one attending will be forever changed.
