Getting people plugged in to a small group will help! We are to encourage one another; and whether we are in the church building our being the church. Some plant some water but God ultimately brings the increase! I know of many people who got a good start hearing and professing Jesus as Lord but they never really possess Jesus as Lord, and for many reasons are unable to finish well! This shows me a larger concern of why our churches seem to be leaking (our buckets have holes in them.) Maybe we could redesign the way we do church? Prayer is needed of course; and a way to spot those who fall through the cracks for follow up ministry as well. It is not always the most profitable ministry for churches but it is the one Jesus would approve of. (Leaving the 99 to help the one)
