			<description><![CDATA[Bishop Jackson, I hope many more clergy and Christians will be as honest and address the serious race issues in the American church. The lessons of the recent elections will be totally lost if we fail to honestly discuss and address the bigotry in the American church. How can we speak of the speck in others eyes when we have a log in ours? The American church faces serious existential issues and imminent irrelevance because her leaders continue to pretend that there is no racism in the church. It is instructive that Paul repeatedly called out Peter for his hypocritical allegiance to Judaism. There is an urgent and critical need for American clergy to deal with bigotry in their ranks. Failing to do so will render the church powerless and impotent, if it has not already.]]></description>
