I see this every day with my daughter's boyfriend and his son. Every week he goes out and buys him toys to out give the boys mother. This year he has put out 400 for Christmas presents. The boy gets no correction when he does wrong as he breaks new toys because he does not get another. He has a large tv, x box and tons of games. He is only 4! His dad says he is a Christian yet when l asked him if he has taugh his son what christmas was all about and about Jesus, his reply is "l try!". His father gives him things instead of his time and love! They took him out shopping and he said, "Mom, l have alot of toys at dad's but not enough at home!", and screamed until he got one. They laughed about. It saddens me. How many children won't have gifts, food or a place to lay their head this Christmas!?
