I have a few sugestion for all who read this. 1. Don't look to the man for the answers or keep your eyes on the man, for man will always fail you. Keep your eyes on the Lord, for the Lord will NEVER fail you. 2. Judge not, lest you be judged. 3. Can Zachery Tims be fully restored? Yes! and could be elevated by God to a higher level than he was before this unfortunate incident. God does not take away the gifts he has bestowed upon us. Yes, he will not allow us to operate in those gifts for a season, however, he can invoke the operation of those gifts at any time of his coosing. We are all given a gift of Choice and apparently, Zachery Tims, made a poor choice according to scripture, not according to us. He now has the opportunity to reverse this through prayer and supplication, true repentance and doing over his first works. So his past does not have to determine his destiny. Making the right choice in the eyes of God can put him right back on the path of rightiousness.

It it is truely sorrowful when events, of this nature, or any incidents of backsliding or falling take place. However, for what ever reason, there seems that when such incidences occur, particularily with individuals in ministry, others find the need to publicize it nationally and internationally. God says, not to uncover our brother's nakedness (no pun intended), so why does it have to become an issue for public forums within christian newsletters and amongst christians in general. Yes, the media is going to get a hold of the story and use it to denegrate christianity as a whole, but do fellow christians need to jump on the band wagon. It makes us just as guilty, if not more so than non-christians, who don't know the word of God and thus don't know any better. God said he will shake the largest Oak Trees and even his most elect will fall short of the mark. Let's all pray for those who backslide or fall instead of discussing them on the internet.

Michael #12: Do you honestly believe a demon can live inside a person WITH the Holy Ghost? I was one of those that was totally possessed due to satanism, drugs and the list goes on. When I came to Christ they could NOT stick around even though they were extremely powerful. They have NEVER re-entered me and they never will as long as I am truly serving the Lord Jesus Christ. These people preach a twisted doctrine and have for years. I would be careful my friend. The Holy Ghost can be offended and saying He takes up residence with demons, well that does not sound very biblical to me.

I am a Christian counselor and radio preacher and operate a large inner healing and deliverance ministry in Phoenix, Arizona. About 30% of the Christians who come in for deliverance from demons and emotional bondage are ministers. I treat adultery issues frequently. In most instances, the problem is caused by unclean spirits of lust that get into the body and cause the sex drive and dream life to become hyperactive. Once the spirits are removed the sexual addiction and lust bondage leaves. These marriages can be saved and ministers with hidden lust agendas can be healed. I see them healed on a weekly basis.Bro.
Of course we forgive. Interesting though. In every case so far, there is only sorrow expressed AFTER they were caught or exposed. If they had not been caught, I suppose they would not be sorry yet. Hmmm. The good news, is that although we all walk in flesh, that God is coming for a church "without spot or wrinkle," and that the Holy Spirit has a move we don't know about yet, and it's not about any one person or ministry.

There is none righteous, no not one. It is a big thing because they are in the limelight. It is no more than stealing or lying. Sin is sin. Both of them need our prayers to help them get through this situation. It is not our job to judge anyone. I pray that they go and sin no more. That is to learn from this and not repeat it. At least he did confess it. That is more than some will do, saved or not!. I pray that God will heal their marriage and they get back together. This is just another lesson we should pay close attention to so that we will know what to do should we cross this path. None of us are exempt from this happening to us. I don't care how long you've been married.

Flesh is flesh. Some of the things the church is experiencing is due to the lack of Gods Word being preached like it is written. Sin has to be preached against, called out ALL THE TIME!! One can never get comfortable. All this prosperity, kingdom 'talking' is killing. Apostle Paul told Timothy to preach the Word. Some act as if everyone is saved already! This is not true. When sin is preached against, people want to say "you are judging" them. Then Pastors back down and preach or talk a watered down Gospel. The Word preached hits the Pastor first. Let us pray that the men and women of God will go back to preaching the Word of God. For, hell has enlarged itself. "...And Holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. This will never change. John 15:3 says: "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you." Let the Saints pray for one another .

I wish men who "get it" would ~really~ educate men who don't, so the women don't have to do it by seeing their families destroyed. If men would do it right, then the women could set the standard for the women as the Bible teaches. Broken women, esp. with children, need help for themselves and their children. Kids who see anything goes believe it's not that big of a deal when it is. Will the TRULY righteous men arise and let all those who are on the sidelines truly get convicted and stay or leave so we can recognize our Church again? Please?

Mushy, gushy church goers who take him back after he has repented and restored UNDERSTAND the nature of forgiveness. I agree that damage has been done and that credibility and his ability to minister effectively has been greatly wounded and will probably never be fully restored, but the fact is that Galatians commands us to RESTORE a fallen brother NOT feed him to the wolves. God's calls are irrevocable. Such IS the nature of our forgiveness.

The "indescretion" cost Zachery Tims his wife and children, the respect of his church and community. Let us not ever lose sight of that... Only the Spirit of God, who indwells us, knows the extent of the damage he did to Black believers. When a pastor falls like this, many uncertain in their faith just give it up. They say, "If he cannot make it, and he is a man of God, how will I make it?" And others say, "He can never be my pastor again. I trusted him. I let him be my spiritual guide. But no more..." This is not a simple story of forgiveness and restoration. This is also a story of great, great loss, of great, great damage. All because Zachary lusted after an Asian exotic dancer. Hey, maybe he needs a new line of work? But like the fallen Todd Bentley, already back in ministry, he will return to the pulpit. And mushy, gushy church goers will take him back... Such is the nature of our forgiveness. But look at the devastating damage...
