As a Pastor, I was so blessed by this article, because my prayer is to be like Jesus most. Jesus came to serve not be served. Moses was the most humble man on the face of the earth. Oh God, help us pastors to be more like Jesus instead of some popular person on earth. May God raise up some apostles like the new testament tells us about. Help us Holy Spirit to become servants for your kingdom. Thank you

Thankyou Francis. I don't know if anyone else has noticed that denominatons encourage anything but a servant spirit in their leadership? Most of them encourage climbing the tree of success with bigger and more prestigious congregations, higher pay and bigger and better cars. The end result is that success is determined by outward appearance rather spiritual humility. How many denominations and churches seek to employ a man who is weak, base, foolish and non existent? 1 Cor 1:27. Or a man who comes in weakness and fear and much trembling? 1 Cor 2:3. Perhaps that is why Jesus has such a hard time building his church. We prefer he didn't. We prefer he left it to us as we have all the degrees and experience.
